Game Description

In Road Warriors: A Stand-Up Comedy Odyssey, players take on the role of comedians as they overcome challenges, tell jokes, and try to hold onto enough self-esteem to survive life on the road.

Each session, the comedians will tackle a new gig. Arrive in a new town, discover what horrors await them in the venue they’re meant to play that night, and spend the day running around trying to fix it all in time for the performance.

In between gigs, the comedians will deal with each other and their lives back home, turning their drink tickets and comedy experiences into new material and superior skills, if they can stay one step ahead of their rapidly unravelling self-esteem.

What you need to play

• 3-5 Performing Comedians (PCs) and 1 Master of Ceremonies (MC)
• Lots of six-sided dice
• Paper and pencils
• A sense of humor and adventure

Developer

DGB Games is a disorganized pile of artists, writers, performers, and friends huddled together for warmth in Brooklyn, New York.

David Piccolomini (he/him) is a comedian and game designer based in Brooklyn. He wins at tactics games by eating his opponent’s pieces.

Dan Metz (he/him) is a game master and student of social work based in Queens. As the youngest member of the group, he lives in fear of being eaten by the others.

Miel Markus (they/them) is a writer and UX content designer based in Brooklyn. To conserve energy, they sleep for 12-20 hours after eating.

Huda Haqqani (any/all) is a production designer, project manager, and known bite risk based in Brooklyn. Watch your fingers and toes.

Aleksey Nisenboym (he/him) is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Brooklyn. Hire him so he can stay above water on the mortgage on his mushroom house.
